Laser Treatment of the Face
In case the face skin - in particular in the central third part - is affected by further wrinkles it is opportune to resurface the skin by means of CO2 laser. In addition to leveling the surface also so-called bio-effect will be initiated in deep layers of the skin, ultimately resulting in an increase of the elasticity of skin in the operated area. The intervention is carried out under a short anesthesia, and requires a 24-hour hospitalization, while the time of surgery convalescence is 10-14 days. Very often, laser resurfacing of face is performed simultaneously with face-lift and blepharoplasty.
